Chronos clocks

Have the Chronos chess clocks been discontinued? I am in the market to buy a new clock but was unable to locate a store online which sold the Chronos clocks anymore. Any ideas where I could get one?

on that site it says that the chronos clocks are not available for shipment though

It looks as if they aren't readily available.  I found two for sale on Amazon.com.  The asking price was $300+, way above their previous selling price.

they used to be $100. I don't think I'm willing to pay triple

Are you having trouble finding a Chronos Clock to purcahse?  Recently DCI Game Clocks has moved their production facility which has casued a delay in production.  They hope to be back up soon. 

is there any estimation available for when they will renew production? and you are saying the clocks haven't been discontinued right?

No idea if they have been discontinued.  However, Amazon.com was selling some as collector's items, not a good indication of continued production.

The manufacturer has announced that production is resuming this month and clocks will be available in February...

yeah I know! you have the kind I want with the buttons. touch sensors are dumb

the touch sensors are just annoying because there's no response when you hit it

Whoa, I have one of these in a box somewhere. Didn't know it was so valuable. You can get a SamTimer. It's exactly the same as Chronos with some extra settings to play scrabble.
