The last chess program I bought was Fritz 14 via Steam. Its very buggy so Im looking to upgrade with something that has built in opening trainer and availability to adjust strength in numbers, for example, If I am 1800 ELO, I can set the strength to 2000 instead of "hobby", "League player", "Master" etc. rating.
Does'nt have to be Fritz, but I'm looking for something NEW (2021) and available via digital download.
Most GUI's are dated. Can't think of anything 2021 when it comes GUI designs.

Another option is to buy Hiarcs digital download and use it with the latest Stockfish. It's a very simple interface but a bit dated. There is speculation that Hiarcs might be launching a new version soon.
