Convert "Sharpen Your Tactics" to PGN

I really like the puzzles in "Sharpen Your Tactics," and I'd like to convert them to PGN in order study with Lucas Chess. Does anyone want to split this up with me? It takes me about 2 hours to capture 100 positions, so with 11 people, we could finish pretty quickly (1125 positions in the book). Only message me if you actually own the book.

This is illegal tread lightly

How is it illegal if everyone who works on the PGN also owns the book? As long as they don't put the book's annotations in the PGN, I think it's legal.

Is it a copyright violation? There are websites that distribute PGN files of books (including from this publisher), and I wouldn't be sharing these files online. In any case, if it's illegal, I won't pursue it.

I think as long as you don't distribute it outside the group that each own a copy of the book, you wouldn't have to worry. You are asking those that already have the book to contribute so they have a right to covert to PGN too.

I'm not a lawyer though, so could be wrong.

If u own the book u can make pgn files.. its like u own a dvd movie.. u can copy it to vhs if you want. U can even lend the vhs to ur friends.. no one cares

The PGN with positions already exists.

I am also interested in the pgn file of : "sharpen your tactics" by Lein.

What does "PM me" (I am new to chess.com)?

Not sure if you have tried Lucas Chess's diagram scanning feature (it's only in the newest unstable versions.  Here is a blog post about it.  It lets you scan in images from a pdf file or webpage and convert it into a position readable by chess programs.  Worth a look if you didn't know about it, especially since you are already using Lucas Chess.
