My chess is garbage and I understand a great way to improve is lots of tactics and was wondering if CT-Art was worth it or if you have any other suggestions on how to improve my tactics (besides tactics trainer)? Also I was going to start working on 5334 problems by polgar.

I like CT-Art 4. I haven't used it enough to really improve do to time, but my son has. He has improved a great deal. I have a lot of fun using it. I really like doing tactic problems. I liked it much better then the Polgar book.

An alternative way to improve is to post your games for analysis by veteran chess players.

Every move you make must have a purpose. The polgar book is very helpful although the puzzles increases in difficulty.

CT-Art is excellent software.  Also try Silmans books "The Amateurs Mind", "How To Reasses Your Chess" and "The Complete Endgame Course"
