looking for 2 books in the old descriptive notation (i really dislike algebraic notation)

The Blockade & Chess Praxis by Nimzowitsch

Anyone know where I can get them?

Well this entire site is in algebraic, so you'd probably do well to get used to it.

Might try somewhere like Amazon and try to get one of the oldest printing available. Might have to check with the seller to make sure the version is in descriptive but that is probably your best bet.

As practice you could translate a current edition into descriptive. Then by the time you're done you'll be used to algebraic.
