DGT 960 or Easy Plus?

Oh, that's sad. I was hoping the bad reviews were exaggerated, it seems like such a nice little clock. I suppose that only leaves the Easy Plus then. Since the 960 seems to operate in the same way as the Easy Plus, could you please elaborate on why it's not easy to use? From some videos on YouTube it seemed convenient enough to use but I haven't had the opportunity to try one out myself.
Anyone with the Easy Plus care to comment? There seems to have been some issues with wearing of the lever but DGT's (excellent) customer support has assured me that it has been fixed since 2008.
I intend to get myself a chess clock and I'm fairly certain that I want to get either the DGT 960 or the DGT Easy Gametimer Plus. I like the portability of the 960 but it looks a bit flimsy to me, and the reviews over at Amazon do not look too comforting. The Easy Plus doesn't seem too difficult to bring along either and it also has the added benefit of being a bit more like an "ordinary" chess clock with the lever and all. (I have considered other clocks as well, such as the DGT 2010, but they all seem too cumbersome to set and the features they have that the 960 or the Easy Plus doesn't, are not really important to me.)
Any comments on these clocks?
