There are Argentinian companies that make them--Ajedrez Hirsch comes to mind--but they don't sell to the US because shipping here is very difficult from there. Again, you can write to Dirk and ask him directly. His email is on his website.

Looks like the Knight is a single piece of wood.  I like it.

Yup, one piece knights. Very nice.

I quite like the minimalist aesthetic of the Braganca set. I'm not as big a fan of the Amazonia... The proportions of the pieces look a little strange to me, otherwise the design isn't too bad.

Hello, all. I've taken great interest in this thread amongst others within the Chess Books & Equipment forum since May 2022. With that in mind, my first vintage pieces arrived today, which happen to be Dirk Dagobert's Braganca design. I'd ordered them from an ebay seller with 100% feedback, who also assured me multiple times that the set had no damage, specifically the King, which I'd thought had a crack at the base. Overall I was excited and thrilled with the transparency and swift communication, but upon arrival today, I meticulously unwrapped each piece and discovered the King's finial was broken and the base indeed had a crack, instead of a natural grain illusion, as the seller assured. After a frantic search, I was able to find the broken finial piece, so that's where things stand.

I LOVE the design, finish, weight, balance, and playability of the pieces, but the expensive price paid doesn't sit well, as the King I specifically had concerns for turned out to be a dud. I don't want to tarnish someone's 100% ebay rating, but it's not necessarily fair to be mislead on a direct concern (base crack), and then find out the finial is also broke. Each piece was carefully wrapped, tidily packed inside the original box, which was then wrapped and insulated via a protective bag, additional air pillows and wrapping, and finally the box (which have no sigs of abuse).

I need advice from anyone willing to offer. Should I send it to someone for a repair? What are some reputable sources for this? Is the person who made spare pieces on this thread still open and available for this kind of work? If so, maybe I could get some spare queens made in the same order. Or should I throw in the towel, hope that ebay sides with me via their return process, and order the newer Braganca set directly from Dirk Dagobert's site? meh
