I have wanted this Drueke Chess Table for about 20 years. The local game shop has had it all this time, and I finally bought it! We are together at last. It is a thing of great beauty.

Set up in the living room, pictured here with an ebony and boxwood set I bought years ago from USCF in the early 90s (leather bottoms). I've started using my old Jerger Olympia again since I acquired the table. These tables tables seem to have disappeared from the market in recent years. So pleased I was able to purchase for less than $800. Drueke boards have shot way up in price lately (I bought mine for $100 about 20 years ago).

Congrats on a wonder acquisition. Are the board squares 2 1/4"? Thanks for the pic

Thanks, Mike. The squares are 2.5 inches. Table surface is 30 inches. Height is approximately 29.5 inches. Maple and walnut.

2coast that's even better at 2.5" squares. It was worth the 20 year wait.

phpqpWODq.jpegHas anyone seen this Drueke chess table out there anywhere? I have only looked on internet sales, and haven't found one. I know of others who have seen mine, and want one of their own. Have they disappeared from the marketplace?

One sold about two weeks ago on EBay, just as soon as it was listed.

I remember these from the nineties.. Nice tables, but they suffer from a deficit common to most chess tables -- they're too small. A decent chess table should accommodate a clock, pieces, the box for the pieces, elbows, book/move notes, drinks, a lamp, possibly an ashtray (if you're into cigars etc), and not feel cramped...

Very nice and well set up....Enjoy!

Just saying the HOS chess table went up a lot since the holidays.  They must have sold out fast. I guess what the market will bring , it is now on sale for $495.00 no coupons allowed. Wish I would have ordered one 4 months ago.

I really like mine. Plenty of room for clock, snacks, and beer.

Chuck, you really have a  gorgeous chess table, how about some pics of it from different angles. I was so tempted in getting this gem when I first saw it.  But I already have 2 tables and no where to put a 3rd.

I think it's awesome. I want one!

Thanks! I hope you can find one. It's not massive, but it's perfect for me and my visiting opponents.
