Fischer's 60 mem games are a blast it's definitely worth going thru for anyone: some instructive, some explosive, a few plain boring too. That book has amazing and enjoyable games. He emphasizes on the sicilian and the ruy so if u love em you're gonna love it. sorry i dont know about the other books.

How appropriate is it for someone ranked 1400? Too hard to understand? Is it better to get Chernev's "Logical chess"? or Snyder's "Unbeatble chess lessons"? (based on comments on amazon). Thanks for any advice.
