What size/model is that tackle case?
Folding storage boards

I was thinking of getting that exact folding board, too. Is it a proper inlay/veneer, or just with print on surfaces?
It is veneered inlayed mahogany and sycamore. If you don't mind the hollow thud when playing on it. It should be a nice travel option for you.

Very nice set indeed, very beautiful and practical at the same time , very professional looking.
Can you please show us your backpack and how it fits it , I'm actually surprised it fits in a backpack, I know it's very large board 52×52 cm

Yes that does work. I do have one of those bags as well. Thanks!

Why do you need two queens tho? When you improve your play you won't need two queens
It is rare to get Pawn promoted to a Queen with the starting Queen still on the board but it does happen. It is better to have an actual Queen piece rather than turn a Rook upside down. This is the main reason.

Nice board!
I have been looking around for a while for a nice 14 to 15inch foldable board. 20 is just too big for my needs right now.
Most that I came across don't have the file and rank notation on them, so I ended up buying some cheap one without it that has padding and elastic bands on the inside to hold the pieces. I bought a nice set of Zagreb pieces to go with it. Still a bit bummed I could not find a basic, reasonable priced one with file and rank notations on it in the size I wanted, but maybe I'll find it later.

@digdre Have you tried looking at those cheap Polish novelty sets that have the hand carved notations on the folding case board?

No, do you have a link?

At chessgamesshop I only find the folding board with molds for pieces. Did you remove the molding from the inside?
I have had this tournament #6 size folding storage board for a few years. I truly love using it in clubs. However the cheap plastic piece storage only holds 32 and not 34 pieces. Which I got a small dice bag to hold the extra Queens in. It was a good idea but I was quite limited on which sets I can store inside this folding storage board.
I came across a plastic storage container that is used for fishing tackle from another forum thread. It is the Plano Stowaway boxes. I really liked the presentation of the stowaway cases. That I got one for my custom set. After getting my Plano Stowaway box from my local Walmart. I started to think how best to travel with it. One member placed his in a Grandmaster Chess Bag from HoS. I tried this option but it just wasn't working out for my needs. Mainly because I want to always put my roll up boards inside mailing tubes. There just wasn't enough room to house a mailing tube inside with the Plano Stowaway. Then I looked at my folding storage board. I wondered if the Plano Stowaway could fit inside this folding storage board. So I took out the cheap plastic piece inserts. I will be damned! It fits like a glove. I can close the board and the Plano Stowaway stays in place even when moved.
I was very happy to find that it fits inside. Now I am no longer limited to one or two sets that would only fit the cheap plastic velvet chess piece insert. I can swap out different sets by using a Plano Stowaway case. I can easily place this board in a backpack along with a clock. I do prefer playing on wooden boards and wooden sets. It's just wooden is so hard to travel with.
Here it is all set up and ready to play once you set the extra Queens off to the side of the board. On the board is my custom set that I commissioned The Chess Empire to make for me. It is based upon the set design used in a video game called Watch Dogs. So if you are like me and like playing on folding storage boards. This could be a way to change up what set you are bringing to the club or tournament. By the way I got this folding storage board from chessgamesshop.com
