So, my small library of chess books has four books in it. Which ones should I read first?
These are the books
Danger in Chess- How to Avoid Making Blunders- FM Amatzia Avni, 1994
How Good Is Your Chess?- GM Daniel King, 1993
Why you Lose at Chess (second edition)- Tim Harding, 1982
Dvoretsky's Endgame Manual (second edition)- Mark Dvoretsky, 2006
all this books are good reading materials , isuggest dvortsky endgame manual it has imrove my endgame with strong players, ive learned to draw inspite of a pawn up by my enemy., and how to exploit the position of my enemy., to its weakness.
Ah, so I'm a D class player.
That should decrease my hat size enough to stop me from reading the endgame book.
Turns out, that HGIYC book is really interesting. I'm skipping around chapters, and the second one (with the Maroczy bind) is driving me insane!
