Yes there is. Right-click on the "Notations and Openings Book" window and select "Show Material" from the dropdown list.

Thank you so much for your reply. I tried your suggestion and that will certainly giive me the info I need. It shows what the material advantage is at any given time. I guess there's no way to see all the material that has been taken off the board... but that's OK.

If you like to play with the 3d boards (my favorite is the Tropic wood) The Turk board shows captured material off to the sides of the board
