If I install the Fritz program for ipod touch, would I be able to install and use my Fritz trainer DVDs on my ipod touch?

Gammick Entertainment has ported Fritz to platforms other than a PC (e.g., xBox 360, PS3, Wii, Nintendo, etc.), but it's quite unclear from their website what features are contained in those ports. Looking at the iTunes app store ad for Fritz, I'd be shocked if this tiny app actually allowed the use of the training DVDs that come with the full-fledged Fritz 12 product offered by ChessBase. The two series (ChessBase versus Gammick) seem to have different intentions and different audiences. But, hey ... I really don't know the answer to your question. But I'd like to know what the answer is, just like you.

I own Fritz 8 for the PC, but for my iPod Touch, I downloaded Shredder for $5. Plenty strong to play, plus it has 1000 tactics problems in it as well. No Fritz-style training videos, however (but you can't expect that for $5).

Good luck.

Thanks. I also DL'd Shredder, but was curious about being able to use the training DVDs to study. I sort of doubted that the ipod app would be complete enough to handle the training DVDs; but wanted to ask someone more epxerienced than myself.
