Hi all,
I just wanted to share a chess find I came across. I was at a used bookstore and I found this chess set on sale for $4.00.
It included the moderately weighted wood chess pieces and the velvet lined wood carrying box. (the board is one I already owned.) I don't really know what kind of wood they are but I am very happy with the set. They had 2, I bought them both.
Anyone else have any stories of great chess finds?

I just realized that I never measured the king but I believe it is about 3 1/2 inches tall
