Sarcasm can be good.  It is a "thread" not a "threat".  And I don't think they lock them on this forum.  Perhaps they delete them.

Also, what's the harm?  just because a guy is nice and letting people know of a Chess Book & Equipment vendor having a sale, doesn't mean you should slam him.  Remember over a year ago when I let you know about Wholesale Chess and their sale making it so you could get a great price on that Chronos Clock?  And until you got that clock you talked of people spending too much money on it compared to the under $50 price of the cheaper one you had.

Yeah, take it easy.  Who knows, you might actually want a nice wood set one of these days...

I have offered to pay for a Blood Rosewood Pawn for my REY II set. They say they can't replace it. $400 wasted for me. Will it some day be $400 wasted for you too? Think about it.

Perhaps create a forum thread asking if someone might have one of those pawns (or one similar to it) that they would be willing to sell you.  It might be a good idea to also post a good photo of one the pawns along with your request...

And/or perhaps make a similar inquiry, with photo, to the many chess suppliers and stores around the world....for example The Chess Store, Chess House, ChessBazaar, etc., etc....

I asked the Chess Store already to negative results. I'm not all that worried about it. My plan is to heavily invest in medical and recreational Marihuana. My portfolio was at $4,500 over six million shares being held since July and closed at $27,000 on Friday. If I become immensely wealthy, my plan is to buy HOS and dissolve the company. I do not take kindly to injustice. I know they can make me one red pawn. 

My next door neighbor is a (stock) day-trader.  Coincidentally, about a week ago he told me had made a killing (buying stock) in medical marihuana and advised me to do the same.  Perhaps I should follow his advice...!

Yes. At least try. It is a dangerous venture, so only 10% of your income should be risked. I know of only one stock, GWPH that rose in late 2013 and stayed up fighting a shortfall in early 2016 in where it dropped quite a bit, then recovered quickly. The rest crashed in May of 2014 and it took me two years to recover my losses. My favorites are ERBB, EAPH and GRNH. I post Facebook updates every day the stock market is open. I own shares in 37 companies.

You own a lot of stocks....the market has had a nice post-election bounce for you!

Why don't you  turn toward Allan Dewey or some other craftsman who can copy a chess piece perfectly.  If the wood isn't a problem that would be your best bet.  I would think the restorer, who ever you pick would be able to get a piece of this wood if they already didn't have it.

Thank you. I will inquire. I did that once and it was not perfect and cost $70 for one pawn. It's not a big deal. I know HOS has it because they sell this set in Red and Black. I am 100% positive no one buys the Red and Black version.
