Well i haven´t read it, but i wanted to buy it. They idea sounded really interesting to me. I think its a book about grandmaster who made mistakes (it might have been an endgame book), but its an instructional book as far as i know... well of course i know you have to make mistakes for someone to lose, but i hope you still know what book i mean

Learn from Your Mistakes (Batsford Chess Books): is this what you are looking for? The premise seems to be slightly different (in that it is your mistakes and not the grandmaster's mistakes you learn from), but similar in concept perhaps? Learning from your own mistakes is probably more useful than learning from grandmaster mistakes anyway, since they tend to make different kinds of mistakes to the common woodshover.

Everyman Chess publishes a book by IM Colin Crouch (an excellent author, BTW) titled: "Why We Lose at Chess" and in many games, he is the loser. You can check it out and download a sample here:

An old classic which I think is very good if you are relatively new to the game is "Chess Master vs. Chess Amateur" co-authored with former World Champion Max Euwe. The master doesn't make the mistakes but it is good instruction on some basic strategy and tactics. The only problem is finding the book and having to put up with the old descriptive notation.

Could it be Saving Lost Positions

I am generally not an Eric Shiller fan, but this is a good book, but definitely not for a beginner.
