Alterman doesn't define his gambit books a repertoire at all. He just says let's use the gambits for what they can teach us. Which is probably one of the secrets GM and IM don't teach.
thx a lot. i didnt want to suggest that he did so. im just weak at openings and thought that book would be good enough and i might not need to start with learning different openings right now with it
or is it just something for coffeehouse player who need a suprise?
