The Most Instructive Games of Chess Ever Played

I've heard people say this book is a little above my head then some say it's a little below me mainly for Class D but still useful but my question is is it for Class C levels or not ?

I LOVE that book and probably read it a bit too early but who cares?  I will read it again in a year or so.  I would say that if the games and prose look interesting it is a good book.  I think this is especially true for game collections.

Now, "My System"?  I may never be ready for that.  :)

It got so-so reviews on Amazon.com

Out of 32 reviews on Amazon, 23 were 5 stars, 6 were 4 stars and 3 were 3 stars.  Seems pretty good to me.

You'll get something out of it. Mainly because they go into details on how moves are selected in certain key positions where a lot of analysis is needed to figure out how to progress, or how to stop an attack, etc. You'll get a good intro into how GMs think of a game in progress.

Getting something out of it is what counts. Even Tal went back to reading basic beginners books from time to time. If it's good enough for him, then hey!
