Bets known Italian chess manufacturers are Didatto and Italfama, but I'm not aware of any particular Italian style of chess pieces...

The latest thread on the Spanish Chess sets has me looking to follow my heritage a bit with chess sets.
My father's parents both came from Spain, so I plan on buying one of those Spanish sets.
My mother's parents both came from Italy. I have been to Italy 3 times to visit family and tour the country. While in Florence I bought 2 sets in metal where the boards were leather. Florence is known for its Italian leather.
Anyway, I am wondering if there are any Italian originated chess set designs as the Spanish, Lardy for France and Jaques for England ones.
Do any of you know? And if you do, where can we get them from?
