^ this is bad advice based on an outdated web page that exposes the dubious roots of Fat Fritz. The only reason they are "suggesting" a hugely overkill graphics card was because Silver plagiarized lc0 for one of his two Fat Fritz versions and it requires a GPU. No other engine requires a GPU at all and no chess GUI needs one either. Fat Fritz has been pulled from the market for violating the GPL license for both the lc0 version and the Stockfish version. Go to Chessbase and see if they sell them. They don't because they've been sued and are losing in court.
Chessbase itself requires no GPU so Intel Iris Graphics are just fine for the program. Given the "ethics" of Chessbase, I'd think twice about buying anything from them. Period.
