I like it so much, I bought it.  I got the Classic with the 4.5 inch king, but the board I bought was the birdseye maple and greenwood with 2.5 inch squares.  I bought it in January, and already the bishops and rooks have small chips in them, but I don't care: it just shows that this set is played on and is not a trophy set.  I take mine to tournaments (I also bought the case and casket) and it just looks great amid all that plastic.  I love it!

Thanks, I hope it is as nice as it seems, it's pretty expensive, I've always played on the cheap cardboard sets as a kid, but I turn 39 on the 12th, it's about time I bought a nice set for myself.
