Is there much difference between Chessmaster 9000 and Shredder Chess for the Mac? I do have shredder on the iphone which is nice, but Chessmatser has better marketing ;-)
Or is there something even better for the Mac? I care less about a few rating points in chess and mostly about usability and the ability to analyze positions. Good training and a database would be welcome.
My understanding is that, if strength isn't top priority, then Chessmaster has lots of features, a built in database, and a general bang-for-the-buck advantage - it's very inexpensive.
