Wow - 2 years later and no answer. There's a chess program that I have on my Android phone, and it's available for several platforms. It's called PBChess. I think the charge was less than $10. Anyway, they have made available several databases in the format of that program, which are free for download, including the first two volumns you mention. This isn't the books, of course, but I thought I'd at least let you know. Hope this helps.

I bought volume 2 on Saturday for $10. It was one of the books that IM John Donaldson brought with him to sell at our annual Collyer Memorial Chess Tournament. Donaldson always brings books to sell, and I usually buy one or two.
I have autographed copies of Donaldson's books on Akiba Rubinstein from previous years, and also his book on Elmar Zemgalis.
I grabbed Ivashchenko's book the minute he set it out.

Hi Ziryab,
have you read the book on Zemgalis?
is it a good one?
who would benefit from reading it the most?
thanks

ziryab, i see u are rated 2000! what tactic books have you done so far?
The only tactics book that I have worked through completely is Lev Alburt's Chess Training Pocket Book. I've been through it at least twice ten years ago. But I have spent considerable time with at least a dozen others in recent years and have solved many thousands of problems with online tactics trainers (here and Chess Tempo mostly) as well as several iOS apps. I've been through the 1000 problems on the Shredder app 2 1/2 times. I aslo use Chess Quest, Chessimo, and Tactics Trainer on my iPad and phone. I bought the Kindle version of Ray Cheng, Practical Chess Exercises on December 30 and spend ten minutes every few days (see http://chessskill.blogspot.com/2016/01/inaccuracy.html).
Much of my tactics work comes when annotating my own games or looking at unplayed lines in master games (see http://chessskill.blogspot.com/2016/01/read-critically.html).

I have manual of chess combination androi version full unlocked and i can gift you if you want massage me

Six years after my initial answer, if you're looking for PBChess, The name has been changed to Chess - tactics and strategy.

Hello fellow chess friends,
does anyone have the Manual of Chess Combinations, Vol. 1 through vol 3 by Sergey Ivashchenko that they are not using anymore and would be willing to sell or give away?
thanks
kamal
I have volumes 1-4. Only the first two are by Sergey Ivashchenko. Volumes 1 and 2 are available as apps from Chess King for less than $8 each.
