I would suggest to look at the sets offered by House of Chess. Seems like you will get a better deal. I have bought several sets from House of Chess and they have great quality for the price point.
Need advice on buying magnetic chess set

Thank you, more likely than not that's what I'll do, my only problem is that the shipping from House of Chess will cost me 40$. (Sadly I can't find any sets that even remotely fit my criteria in Greece)
I need a travel chess set. I would like one of those sets with the board inside so that the chessmen are safe if the table gets knocked or I am in a plane or something.
Does anyone have experience with this set? https://www.houseofstaunton.com/ultimate-wooden-travel-chess-set-8-in.html
I really like the pieces and the fact that the box is square so it doesn't take more space than what is necessary but, the two part closure system seems problematic. I mean when it seems to me that if a piece comes off the board there is no safe place to put it unless the green parts are also magnetic.
The ideal design for me would be something like this https://www.houseofchess.com/square-board-inside-magnetic-chess-set-5inch-x-5inch-and-pieces-golden-rosewood-maple.html but a little larger (7 or 8 square inches) but I cant find one anywhere. If I fail to find one like this I'll probably settle for this one https://www.houseofchess.com/travel-magnetic-chess-set-board-inside-9inch-x-7inch-golden-rosewood-maple.html unless the lining of the one from the house of staunton is indeed magnetic.
I would appreciate any help that you can give me.
Update: I was informed by the House of Staunton that the pieces do not stick to the green felt covered parts, which obviously renders the fact that this set is magnetic almost irrelevant, since you would have to place the pieces that get off the board on a non magnetic and non enclosed part of the chessboard where they could easily fall off.
