I recently bought Andy Soltis' new book:  "Studying Chess Made Easy".  I've only had time to skim most of the book, but this made be the most instuctive chess book I've seen in a very long time.  What do you think?

I had no idea Solits was still alive, much less actively writing.  I'll check out some reviews.  Soltis's best stuff has been among the best chess instruction, period.  His worst has been Schiller-esque in its suckitude.

Nygren

I liked the book very much. I just wish there existed more books of this type.

Soltis explains in details how you could study chess. My favorite chapter is where he explains possible ways to study GM games.

A book that motivated a lot!
