New list of Chess Software (Engines, GUIs, etc) for Mac OSX

So, with the latest upgrade of OSX to Catalina, 32bit executables are no longer supported. This means that ScidVsMac will not run.

Given this, what other options are there for database/analysis software? Stockfish still works, but ScidvsMac was my interface into stockfish.

What other options are there?? In particular that are 64 bit?

I use this. I don't know how good this is. But I use it for analysing a position.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you. Now if I could find out how to add a new chess engine...

Preferences -> Engines -> Add

There is now a 64 bit build of SCID that appears to work fine in Catalina. If you aren’t on the SCID mailing list let me know and I’ll post a link here when I’m on a real computer.

Hiarcs is great, though it only handles PGN and thus has steep limitations on DB size. Other than that, it is very useful.
