Does the "paramount chess database" from chess informant open in the fritz programs?

It does, yes. Are you having issues with it or something?

No, I have not bought it yet, I wanted to know if it will open on fritz, because I do not own chessbase.

I'm positive that it does. Just have to have a program like 7zip or whatever to decompress and extract the database file.

Software

Although we recommend ChessBase 13 as the preferred software solution for using the Paramount database in a Windows environment, an older version of this same program will serve equally well.

Mac users can browse Paramount thanks to the additional PGN database (for Hiarcs, Shredder and any other program). PGN will also be handy when using your favorite program (any PGN viewer) on Android or iOS device.

Thank you for allowing us to post on your thread!

Impractical
Why doesn’t my Paramount Chess Database serial number fit on the installation wizard? The key has letters and numbers, but if you type the characters into the wizard boxes, you get a message that it won’t accept the letters in the sequence printed inside the DVD cover.
