I have not read it, but I see that it was done by a grand master, and that says something already. We can learn from them.
Perfect Your Chess by A Volokitin & V Grabinsky

Considering that it is for 1800+, are you 1800+?
There are plenty of books out there for people in our rating range.
Here is a good place to start:

It's actually not suitable for 1800s either. The book is really designed for FIDE Master level and above. From the Introduction:
"Then there follow 100 examples in each section ... They are given in order of increasing difficulty. The first 40 are aimed at the level of a FIDE Master, the next 40 at IM level, and the final 20, at GM level."
Although the Introduction goes on to say that club players can also get something from the book, I seriously doubt it. This book is really aimed at 2200+ players. 2300-2400 players will find many of the puzzles very difficult, some even completely unsolvable. It's a very advanced book.

you guys miss the point, yes the puzzles are difficult but thats not the main issue here, you dont need to get the correct, its the effort you put in matters, As long as you plan to give yourself 10 to 30 minutes per diagram, and really invest your time and energy into carefully dissecting and decoding the position, you will learn a lot, i would advice to use the Stoyko exercise method
Is the book 'Perfect Your Chess' a good book to start reading if i want to improve my chess? And if there are some other books which could help improve my chess please mention.
