I have over 100 chess books to sell, with more to come. All should be considered used; I have attempted to grade them and provide additional condition descriptions. Details, including individual prices for each book, can be found by following this link: https://cs1904.com/books/Book_Sale.html The list is separated between algebraic notation books and descriptive notation books.
Media mail shipping, to U.S. addresses only. I have attempted to price these reasonably. I may adjust prices downward for items that don't sell. PayPal is the preferred payment method.
I will be adding more books to this list as time permits. The list on the web page will be updated periodically, but if you want a more current list, just ask.
To indicate your interest in purchasing a book, please send me a message here or to the email referenced at the top of the web page. Orders will be fulfilled on a first-come, first served basis.

Just curious.  Why are you selling your chess books?

Thanks for your question.  Many of the books I am selling are duplicates of those I already own (I have about 800 chess books).  In many cases, I purchased several books at once from eBay;  some I am keeping for myself, and the rest I am selling.   The other reason is that I have continued to purchase new books and I am selling some of the older ones to make room.  My goal is to get these books into the hands of people who want them and recover a bit of my original investment.

Gotcha...thanks.  When i quit serious chess a couple years ago.  I gave all my stuff away.

Wow, MCO 12. That was one of the few books I had back in the 1980s. It saw a lot of use. I still have it but I've mostly moved to other books.

Lots of classics and still functional reads here.  Pandolfini has always been concise and clear instruction.  I see many great authors and tons of material for the collector.  Many of these I have.

Schonberg's "Grandmasters of Chess" and Saidy's "World of Chess" are great books for Chess historians and fun reads.

My Najdorf RHM PB had dried out and when I went to open it simply cracked. RHM PB books were really crap the way they put them together. On the other hand, the Dover PB books I bought in the 60s are just fine.
