PGN

I am interested in viewing old games of masters like hikaru and magnus. I found a link of a pgn database where thousands of games are available.

However, I don't know how to open the files downloaded from that site.

the files have the PGN of many games, but I want to get each game's PGN individually and analyse them with chess.com's PGN reader.

So I need a site/app which could read the files and give me individual PGNs.

I'm really confused about this all lol. please help

PGN files are simple text and can be viewed in any text editor. Most chess interface software also can open them and display the game and moves.
