Plastic set - Omcorchess staunton EXL chess set

Hi! I thought about posting this chess set in case someone was interested

The chess set is made in México, it is triple weighted and made out of ABS plastic.

The overall weight is 1.405kg - 3.098lb (including extra Queens)

Individual measurements are as follows

King

Size 9.5cm / 3.75"  

Weight 65g - 2.3oz

Base 4.5cm / 1.77"

Queen

Size 8cm / 3.15"  

Weight 58g - 2.0oz

Base 4.0cm / 1.57"

Bishop

Size 7.5cm / 2.95" 

Weight 43g - 1.5oz

All pieces are bottom felted and the seems although noticeable are very discreet.

The colors are almost matte (black/beige) and there's no rattle at all 

Overall I am very pleased with the set and I hope to enjoy it for many years to come.

That's where I got them but i did ask for the extra queens before making the purchase.

I like the looks of their library sized Leningrad/Zagreb plastic set. It looks kinda cute.

I do like the looks of their Zagreb set and did ask them if they were planning to make a bigger weighted version but they say not anytime soon. Either way I think I'm gonna end up buying the set as it is super budget friendly.

Ouch.  They really should find a US distributor - I probably would have bought one already.

Wow that's just to much, i hope the shipping between the two countries wasn't  that expensive as I would love to own one of those indian king chess sets that I've seen around this forums. 

As for mexican mail it is not an option as they are not reliable and are famous for "misplacing" packages, I'm guessing that's the reason they try the FedEx/DHL route
