Now that I see it it like this, clearly the display will be a problem for me, I need to find a better way. The box also looks a bit too big, but that is definitely a design decision they made, as the electronics inside are way smaller than that space.
This other guy seems to be using a Pi, but they figure out out there is so much power on this computer to waste it in a simple clock... they load on it a database, stockfish plus a load more of engines and the drivers for the DGT board, all neat stuff, they no longer call it a chess clock they call it a chess computer:
I got me a brand new raspberry-pi zero W... so, looking for stuff to do with it, i decide to go for making a chess clock...
Have being researching for buttons, displays and what not...
So I decide to bring it to the forums to see if someone else have try this before.
Also to ask... if you could make your own chess clock from scratch, what features you will include to it.
The person in this link came with an idea similar to what I have being researching for, in terms of display and buttons:

Coming at the price tag of a Play Station... but still they try to use the potential of the computer at the maximum. Witch is great.
This guys are going for a similar idea but on the open community spirit:

So this is what is up there, pretty much... I would like to see what ideas other members of the forum have...
I don't have a DGT board, so as off now I can't experiment with any of that sorts... Just the clock.
That is it for now.
