Yep. Sampling is great for formatting and to see if you like the book. Here are some samples currently on my kindle:
- Mastering the Chess Openings
- FCP: A Handbook of Fundamental Chess Patterns

- Understanding Chess Move by Move
- Practical Chess Exercises

Click on "Send sample now" after registering your Kindle device, app or PC.
Some times they let you read until a diagram starts. The diagrams are usually the problem.

So many chess books get good ratings -if paperback. A lot of chess books in kindle are all messed up. Please suggest books in kindle that are good. Would it be safe to get HTRYC by Silman? Even if is above my level?
