The new video is a good effort by Regium, but they are 100% missing the point. Instead of trying to convince us that the original videos are real, they should be inviting 3rd parties to view the tech, and addressing the other suspicious behavior, like potentially fictitious staff members, and sock puppet defenders. No one trusts you because of your shady behaviour, but that trust can be restored with open and honest communication, and THIRD PARTIES.
Based on what's transpired so far, I'd be even harder on them than you. I wouldn't participate in the Kickstarter, because it's a cr*pshoot at best. Also, I'd wait until the company had operated for a while to establish a record of delivering the goods and providing good customer support.
Of course, that's all predicated on the price being something I could afford - I'm not holding my breath.

Everyone also keeps forgetting the company that made the boards in the video have said it is their boards and that they have not been altered in anyway, and they simply make chess boards not electronic ones.
