Review of Square-off Pro

I have been using Square-off Pro for a while and I would like to share my experience with the others who might be looking to acquire this electronic chess board.
Square-off Pro is a tournament size board with 5cm squares and standard size chess pieces with a king height of almost 9.5 cm. The board is made of very sturdy and thick silicon type material which can easily be rolled up and packed away inside the provided case. The chessmen look similar to DGT onesvbut more elegant in my opinion and they feel weighted which makes them ideal for realistic chess games. The battery life is amazing lasting 6-7 hours easily and you can use a usb cable for charging it. The board lies nicely flat on the table and does not wrinkle or crease. You can use Square-off Pro to play against stockfish with 20 different levels and customised time or if you prefer you can play online on chess.com, lichess, Move One and Square-off. The whole process is very user-friendly and straightforward which can be done via Square-off app on our mobile phones. Before starting the game we must make sure all the pieces are correctly placed on their relevant squares and for faster registering of the moves it is best to pick up the chessmen and put them on their destination squares exactly as we do during a real chess game. We can also analyse our games which are saved in our history games with advanced engines which also provide us with descriptive analysis. Every time I play an online game on Square-off Pro I feel I have just played against a real opponent face-to-face and over the board which is invaluable for improving my chess. We can also use the board and chessmen for playing offline games against real opponents or use it for practising our chess. The app is also full of chess tactics and opening practice resources and you can chat with your opponent while playing an online game. The price of the board is also very reasonable compared to similar products and it comes inside a surdy and classy box containing all the accessories you need for playing chess including a mobile phone stand. Overall, Square-off Pro has proven exactly what I always needed for playing a realistic online game against other players.
