You bash the DGT board and havent even tried this new roll up board?

Because I got the DGT board, used it, got fed up of it's connectivity issues and sold it off at a loss.

This is why you dont buy first generation things.

You complain about DGT connectivity even though it can be used in many GUIs and apps with different OSes with BT and USB options. And they publish their API so any developer can write their own interface if they want to. And are very helpful to those developers.

And then you say "the future" is a board with no published API and that can only be used on one app that is currently provided by the manufacturer for free but might become a subscription service later. It only connects using BLE not BT or USB. That's your idea of perfect connectivity is it?

Yes it is because I likr playing chess rather than collecting a board plus a charger plus a cable plus a laptop to carry around. If you think this product is less mobile and portable than DGT you need to recalibrate your lesser evolved brain in my opinion.

So will DGT make a rollable eBoard the square off one doesn't have piece recognition so you have to program current board layout or move pieces from starting position would be nice to just chuck pieces on board and computer to know where they are at
