Well, my input won't be of much use. I watched the one on "Learning Openings the Easy Way" about six months ago. I really learned nothing from it, but at least I can say that I got a good many laughs out of it. I don't know if he is intentionally funny, but the humour is there and is almost blatant. He calls the viewers of this video lazy multiple times.
For the record, I read some reviews on them and I remember coming to the conclusion that the Roman's Lab series was mostly over-the-head of the amateur player.
does anyone watch a lot of these? are they all good, or is it hit and miss?
Im thinking of buying one on the maroczy bind, and another on pawn structure. never bought a chess dvd before so If anyone has any experience Id like to hear it
