SAITEK Competition Pro vs DGT Easy Plus

Hi,

I'm looking for a clock to use at home. I want to be able to do time odds. I know that analogue would work fine, I simply fancy a digital one Smile

I'm in the UK so I won't need the clock for competitions. Therefore it doesn't need to be FIDE approved, etc.

Does the SAITEK (Mephisto) Competition Pro allow you to set different time limits for each player?

Would the DGT Easy Plus be a better choice? I like the extra flexibility over the more basic DGT Easy, but the Plus is getting hard to source in the UK.

Thanks,

Mark

I don't have any experience with either if these clocks but you can buy the DGT Easy Plus from the London Chess Centre: http://www.ukgamesshop.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=chcldig105&Category_Code=chcldig

Thanks for the link. I'd just missed buying one via Amazon - I have a load of birthday vouchers waiting to be put to good use :)

The Saitek does permit different start times for each player in all modes except Tournament.
