Yes this is Rehapados Ferrer chess board:
and I am also very (badly) surprised. Would be wonderful without that mistake.

I'm sure they will correct this, just give them some time to respond. Why be so quick to sully somebody's reputation?
Usually they sell defective products at a discount and these are marked as "reduced price" and "small defects". I picked up a nice wooden USCF chess set this way a couple of years ago. After sanding down a bulging weight in a pawn and refelting, it plays great!
Maybe it looks like I overreacting a little, but... This products was not been marked "small defect". I paid full price for this products, but they send me products with big defect. And they don't respond to my mails. Sorry, but after all I really don't care about they reputation.
If you sent them an email, try using this form in case it got lost (flagged as junk, or whatever): https://www.schachvertrieb.eu/en/contact-and-help
If you already used the form, send a regular email to: info@schachversand.de
I buy a lot of stuff over the Internet internationally and these things happen sometimes, but rarely have I had any problems getting them corrected. I very much doubt they sent you broken products on purpose. And since you probably paid with a credit card, you can always get your money back that way (if the worst should happen). No need to flip out in advance before you even know what the situation is.
Also, I would class the RPF board flaw as a "small defect", since it is cosmetic and does not hamper the usage. Theoretically all that damage could have happened during shipping.
I'm not saying you should be happy, or that you should not get what you ordered (flawless products), just that you should try to be reasonable until you have reason to believe someone is actually trying to trick you.
Stauntonmaster, you don't know what you're talking about. Please show some proof of these "numerous issues", if you're going to make accusations. In fact, veneer boards are less prone to swelling and cracking then, for example, solid wood chess boards.
RPF is a respectable manufacturer of quality chess boards. But mistakes happen, even to the best, it would be silly to think otherwise.
Update:
After 4 days I finally got answer. They offered me three options:
"Unfortunately this was currently the last board of this type in our stock. We can offer the following alternative solutions:
1. You accept the blemish and we compensate with a refund of 25,00 Euro to your credit card.
2. We replace the board with the similar MB7112455 (same size, but with a black edge): As this board is 3,00 Euro cheaper we would refund the difference to your credit card.
3. A new production of your board MB7112655 will be available middle of May. If you are prepared to wait until then we can replace your board by a faultless one of the same type."
We made a deal. This is not perfect, but it is better than nothing.
I ordered from this online chess shop: https://www.schachvertrieb.eu/en/ one chess board and one travell magnetic chess set. Today they arrived and I am very disappointed with this shop. They sent to me products with manufactory mistakes. From distance looks nice:
and
But when You look closer, You can see on chessboard one small pice of veneer is missing:
and on BHB chess set veneer is not glued properly to wood:
I sent today a mail in wich I'm asking for change of products but they didn't answer me yet.
