How do you get to the mode where analysis is available?
SmallFish Chess for Stockfish - Updated with iOS 7
How to do view speed in nps and depth and score? How do you turn off book? I want to use this for analyzing games and not so much playing.

This is a lovely app. However, I wish the "SmallChess" features were available in "SmallFish." SmallChess has an awful engine. Sometimes the computer will move its knight three times in a row in the opening!
But SmallChess has better sounds and better features and colors. Maybe combine the two apps?

You don't like the sound effects in SmallFish? I thought SmallFish has better colors! The graphics in SmallFish is newer and sharper. Don't you think so?
No. SF just gives a "tick" sound for every move and check. The same sound for two different situations doesn't seem right. SC gives a "tack" sound for moves and "check" for every check, which is intuitive and very satisfying. Your latest Fish app (forget the exact name; meant for beginners?) has horrible sounds similar to the cheesy ChessBase software. I hate those god awful ChessBase sounds.
SC pros: Better sounds, better options interface, better square colors.
SF pros: Better engine, graph for who is winning (nice because I don't want to see the suggested best move and I can go back and try and figure out where I blundered), analysis is easier to read than SC.
SC negatives: engine is god awful.
SF negatives: interface is slow. I have to go 3 levels deep just to start a new game. On SC, it's only two levels deep. Notation markers are intrusive and distracting. I leave notations "on" in SC and "off" in SF.
Hope I'm not being too negative. These two chess apps are the only chess apps I use on my iPhone and I play them all the time. I tried Shredder and all the others. They are complete crap.
On my wishlist:
1. More square color options.
2. Immediate preview of square color and pieces instead of having to flip through the menu 5 clicks just to make a change.
3. Ability to choose an opening and just play against that opening.
I'd gladly pay $30 for your app if it did this and combined the best features of SF and SC. That's just my opinion, though.
