Yes, indeed. That's the place. A really good shop.

Are you from Madrid?. I usually go to play to the Alcorcon chess club from time to time.

Nope, from USA.  Interent makes the world only a mouse click away Laughing

Can even find picture of the inside:

Chuck, let me know when your set arrives and the time it took.  And if it arrives safely.  I wonder how their service is if you get a damaged piece and getting replacements? Can you tell me your total cost for the set?

Mike, the set arrived today in good condition. The first thing that struck me is that the box it comes in is great. Nice finish on the pieces and the box. Unweighted but seem stable. My only gripe is that there are no extra queens, but HOS spoiled me there.  Here are a few pictures from my desk.

Wow, sure wish we had a store like that in this general area. Would so prefer to lay our eyes and hands on the pieces we buy versus photos.

Nice!  Which set is that again?

Nice that it includes a wooden storage box.

Nice!  I think the storage box just might trump the extra queens.

I agree. It's not like I don't have a million other queens I could schlep along.

Chuck, were the pieces wrapped  or were they shipped  loose in the box?

Mike, they were loose in the box. That said, I can't say I see any damage, or even how these pieces could be damaged by rattling around.

m_liguori

Thats a beautiful set. Either this one or its 1987 Seville sister set will be my first bigger chess purchase. Can't wait to see more pics on the board.

Yeah, I think they are perfectly safe.
