squareoff neo stuck in updating mode now what?

From what I could find, restarting the firmware update over Bluetooth instead of WiFi has fixed this issue for Square Off Neo owners. I also recommend ensuring your app is updated to the latest version before doing so. If you want to update from your desktop, someone mentioned that you can request a Windows/macOS tool from their app support team (appsupport@squareoffnow.com). Thank you I gave up waiting after 3 hours went to bed leaving it trying to update I got up expecting it to be still stuck but it had completed updating. Played 3 quick games lost them all. Unit seems to work well so far. Have to occasionally adjust a piece on a square.

I did get a response from squareoff support this morning which was rather vague. They said simply send us the log file with no instructions on how exactly to do that. I since have noticed that this unit seems to already be delaminating as the surface of the board is coming loose where the mechanism parks under the surface....

I can press lightly with a finger and it will lay flat for a few minutes then unstick. This is how it started with my first until that I sent in for repair. I have requested a return label.
