Just read this novel from Stefan Zweig wich i did appreciate very much.

I did have this will to share with the chess community, but as i don´t have to much time as i wanted to write the article, i only share with you some editions covers of the book around the world and some links for whoever is interested in the matter (especially the article by Winter).

Prefer the book, the movie doesn't portray the tension of B's situation that well imo.

On the other hand, Mario Adorf as Czentovic alone is worth watching it.

Didn't saw the movie. Yet.

I saw a recent one Stefan Zweig: Farewell to Europe.

No very entusiastic about it, but neverthless it's about a chess player!

I once started a thread asking if it could be possible to improve at chess in such a way.

You mean like the character in the book?

I believe it's possible, but with severe consequences, as in the book.

Pulpofeira

Yes, as a method of training it doesn't look very appealing.
