I have a super rare Milton Bradley 1983 uk Phantom Chess computer thats in full working order with only the protective plastic lid that is cracked and broken. This is a super rare item to find and im considering selling for the right price, which will be a fairly big price tag .... i have made a video today of it fully working playing chess against it and happy to share with any serious buyers.

Chess computers aren’t worth much sorry

Trust me, this one is and i will only let it go to a worthwhile serious collector or it stays with me 😁

crusaderwabbet

Looks like it will stay with you or you can donate it to a museum.

Lol!

This could fetch a very hefty price if it is genuine. You could keep it and sell it to the FIDE? Read this for more info: http://www.chesscomputeruk.com/html/milton_bradley_phantom.html

I know, i have done my homework and its 100% genuine, i wouldnt waste peoples time, pointless and just annoys people

Ps thanks, i had already read that article and more but thanks for the FIDE tip i will certainly look into that, the above pic blurry sorry and not very good, i will post better pics and a video of it in action tomorrow

I doubt it will get $ 50. But if you got it cheap you could make a buck.

Listen pal, i asked for only serious people to comment and you have comment twice with absolute rubbish, please refrain from further comnents on this topic. If you actually bothered to do some reading on the 1983 uk phantom chess computer u would realise that they are extremely rare in working order and there are none for sale in the uk on any major website including ebay. The fact of the matter is that very few were sold in the uk which makes the item rareish, roll on 37 years later and acomplete working version is impossible to find, only hardcore collectors own them now. So in future i reccomend you refrain from making comments until you know your facts pal

crusaderwabbet

This is not a selling site "Pal". If you want to sell it then go sell it on ebay. If you want to review it then this is the site to do so. Don't be so tacky.

vinchenzzo

You just couldnt resist 1 more comment .... how lame, shame on you

TBH @crusaderwabbet he wasnt tryna sell it to you he was just asking for advice or if you are super interested and im sure some people are

Great. I can sell my junk here then.  My mistake, I thought " happy to share with any serious buyers." was his selling pitch.

vinchenzzo

If you classify a 37 year old working electronic marvel as junk then im happy to buy your junk pal. 😁

ooo sounds a bit wrong ngl

But anyway it sounds like a gr8 thing for a serious collector

I just did an eBay search. A “Milton” sold for £127 and a “grandmaster” sold for £286, both earlier this year. According to the article referred to above, these are both the same computer as yours, but with different labelling. Even though yours is much more rare, you’ll need to find a really serious collector to get more than say £200, imo.

You might post about this in the HIARCS forum ---->> http://www.hiarcs.net/forums/index.php

There are serious collectors there who may (or may not) be interested.
