Title of a chess book - old chess book

Hi. I forgot the title of a book i had when i was still very young. It was in a hardcover black color. It is the games of all previous masters in chess like morphy capablanca lasker alekhine and many other masters.

The first part was actually a game between a royalty (prince of some sort) and a master.

Other parts actually was even the introduction of castling.

Other parts i remember was the annotation of morphys reply to ruy lopes of a6 .

The notations were still in old style like P-K4.

It was a collectors book and very good to study the development of chess from the great masters but i seems to have lost it and i am trying to find it online.

I hope someone know the title and author of this great boom.

Browse the list of books I have... maybe one of them will ring a bell:

And although I know you were attempting to be as descriptive as possible, please note that your description does cover a wide range of books.  Lots of hardcover books with descriptive notation, with games from the masters, were published.  The one big clue is the "introduction" to castling.  I think this narrows it down.  (Lots of books mention the rule of castling, but not how it came about or was introduced.)

Hi Mr. Collins, you have a very large collections of books and thanks for your reply.

The book i am referrring to is similar to the layout or presentation of chess evolution as the book "The Development of Chess Style" by Euwe but it is not this book.

Yes, you're right in the book i am referrring to one player introduce the castling and somehow there was a complaints/or surprise to the players/judges or something that you cannot move two pieces at the same time.  And i cannot recall what happened after that. It is same game annotations of the "development of chess" but in this book, the new moves, styles, master are introduce after the other. I ahd this book and it seems someone have borrowed it or i have lost it.

It is a very thick book like 1 to 1/2 " thick , and maybe around 7x5 in. Hardcover in pure black.

Appreciate your help.
