Travel sets - advice please!

I'm looking for a little travel set but before I make a decision I was hoping other chess.com users might have some advice for me. I'm looking for it mainly so I can do analysis when I'm on the bus etc.

There are some things I can't decide between, e.g.:

(1) magnets vs. pegs - I imagine pegs wear out after a while, but magnetic sets are a little heavier?

(2) size - how small is too small? Some of the 5 inch sets look to have pieces that are so small that they are hard to distinguish. 7 inches look to be OK. I'd prefer smaller, but not so small that it's just annoying.

There are also a couple of things that I'd like ideally -

(1) a place to put pieces removed from the board (e.g. stick them on the side with magnets, or put them in a drawer)

(2) to be able to keep a position after I'm done and want to put the set in my pocket/bag - I guess this means having the board itself on the 'inside' of the set with the pieces pointing inwards somehow - is that possible? Perhaps the pieces would clash with each other when the set was closed. This would be ideal but not a necessity.

I found a couple of beautiful looking things e.g. http://www.regencychess.co.uk/7-inch-magnetic-travel-chess-set-p-12.html and a wide selection at this site http://www.chessbaron.co.uk/travel-chess-sets.php

Any views on what works, what will last, what kind of price range is appropriate to get something functional, would be really helpful.

Thanks!

This is the only site I've found with peg and magnetic set where you can save your position for later. Take a look here

And here

Good luck

Thanks a lot! Some of those with the board inside look really great, now I just have to decide if I like magnets or pegs....
