Yes, I purchased a copy from amazon. You can get a copy from thechessdrum also. Its a beautifully done book with pictures of Tate's family and a collection of his games. The book is hard cover with a handsome jacket of Tate and a chessboard. Cost is $40.00, you must pay for the shipping cost. I think the author, Dr. Daaim, only had 200 printed, so I would purchase this book before it sell out.

Disclaimer........I bought the book for full price and paid a premium to get it shipped Priority.
I am a chess book collector not a critic on how a game is analyzed etc.
The book is put together about as good as any book I have seen. The pages are glossy and the dust cover is exactly the same as the book so I would put the dust cover away while reading and playing though the games or get a Brodart plastic cover for it. THe book is very well done and was better than what I expected and I expected it to be decent.
Have no idea how many were printed , I heard from someone only 200 copies 1st edition. If so I expect them to go fairly fast just by word of mouth.
I think for quality it outdoes the McFarland books. Oh I forgot to mention t is in color too and many photos, that is rare is a chess book. If you collect chess books do not pass this one up, especially in the 1st edition HB. Don't forget to have the author sign it.

I can honestly say this book will be totally collectable when the HB are sold. I do believe he will have a PB run, at least I think I read that.
But the $40 asking price is well worth it. The HC and the dust jacket are well made as well as all the paper used in between. His cost on the book has to be pretty high.
Do yourself a favor and add this to your chess collection of games and bios.

Been a long time has anyone ordered the book since I last posted and please tell me what you think of it.
Does anyone have the new book Triple Exclam , Emory Tate's bio in hand and can do a quick review? I know it is not that thick of a book but I collect chess books of this type and I would expect it to be hard to come by in HB after it sells out. I do believe the author said they would be publishing it in PB after this sells out but I am not certain.
