Hi all!

I would like to ask you if "Understanding Chess Move by Move" and "Grandmaster Chess Move by Move" both by John Nunn worth buying? I see some people saying they are excellent and others saying they are too much detailed than they should be. So what do you think?

Thanks in advance for your help.

"Understanding Chess Move by Move ... is a first rate instructional work... Nunn does a very good job of explaining the key points of the game in such a way that the reader is given a true account of what is happening and not some watered down version. Nunn does a good job of translating the muddy world of modern master chess into something that is understandable to the layman" - IM John Donaldson, INSIDE CHESS ONLINE

"John Nunn covers the last 10 years of his remarkable playing career in a well-organized new book, Grandmaster Chess Move by Move. The comments to his 64 best games are excellent as usual. He also includes his studies and problems." - GM Lubomir Kavalek, Washington Post
