Picked this nice set up for very cheap at a second hand games store. Bottom of the box has the word "Reveillon" but can't seem to find much about it online.

Hi @Fork_Me_Sideways - nice find - perhaps take a sideways look into the Google-verse - searching medieval and/or King Arthur plastic (or whatever it is made of) chess sets and I think you’ll find some potential matches that will help you better identify your set. 👍

Hi, I took a screen shot and ran it through Google lens. Found this set on Etsy for sale. The description read. "This is vintage figurative plastic chess set made in Western Europe/Germany in the 1970's. Pieces are made of hard plastic and molded with excellent detail in a Medieval Camelot/King Arthur style." https://www.etsy.com/listing/1175504083/weighted-camelot-chess-set-in-whitered

Hi,  I had a set like this in the 1970s,  not ident in colours but I'm sure the design of the pieces is the same. My set was white and black. Well made. I don't recall the box. The set was very playable and elegant. Pieces were about same size as a standard plastic set. Your set looks very desirable. I recall that the prancing knights were really fab.

My uncle bought it and all I can add is that he travelled lots in europe, a tourist.

I've never seen a set like it since.  Possibly valuable to some, and lucky you. 😀😀😍😍

Ps.  Could it be French ?

Fork_Me_Sideways

Could be French, I can't seem to find any company called Reveillon. From what others have said it's a western European set so very possible its French!

Adquiri recentemente para a minha esposa este mesmo jogo aqui no Brasil (em uma feira de antiguidades). Ótimas peças. Sem sombra de dúvidas é o melhor jogo que já foi feito pela mão humana.
