Hey everyone!

I'm new here. Just picked up the platinum membership yesterday. Would just to introduce myself and say hello to everyone!

I have picked up quite a few chess book over the last several months and have read parts of all of them but really need to figure out what I need to be reading first, and what books I "need" to get before tackling some of these books. Also, on a side note. I could use some adice on good chess books that are not filled with 20 moves where you need a chess board to play along with. Reason being at my work a few times a week I have t sit and watch people and when I take the books I have now I can't grasp what's going on because I don't have access to a chess board. So books on theory and fundamentals would be nice. I understand the basics of chess like how to play, so beginner books that explain how to play won't be much use.

OK, here's what I have now. Please tell me what order to read in, and what I need to pick up if there are some must have books out there I missed. And if I own horrible books let me know and i'll get rid of them and buy better ones.

The Are of Middle Game (Keres and Kotov)

Essential Chess Endings: The Tournament Players Guide (Howell). I reall like this one and have been spending the most time with it.

The Game of Chess (Tarrasch) I know this is an older one, but I heard it still holds up to some extent.

Understanding Chess Move by Move (Nunn)

Judgement and Planning in Chess (Euwe)

How to Improve your Chess (Horowitz and Reinfeld)

Bobby Fischers Outregeous moves (picked this up for cheap to solve the puzzles at work)

I also picked up "More Unbeatable Chess Moves for Juniors" from the library. I really like this one as well and am thinking of picking up the rest on Amazon.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE HELP!

Also, sorry for all the gramatical errors, hope it makes sense. This wireless keyboard doesn't register strokes sometimes.

I'm sorry, jforest. I just re-started playing. If I had more time I'd buy some chess books, too. Also, if you have time, if you could recommend some books to me later or let me know if one can learn a lot from this site by upgrading membership.

Thank you
